New Capture Form: Do I use the same website script on all the web pages? Or generate a new script per web page?

Do I generate a script for www.domain.com and use that same script on each page which contain a form? For example, I use the same script on www.domain.com/first-page & www.domain.com/contact-us & www.domain.com/about, etc.

Or, do I create unique scripts (i.e. new marketing website record) for each webpage? Then add the unique scripts on the corresponding page?

The how-to wasn't specific and I don't know if I'm overthinking this.

Thanks!

I'm looking for a similar answer.  I have 2 capture forms I need to kick off two different customer journeys both on the same domain, but on different pages.  Is that possible?

    Hi Stacy-Lynn

This is what I do know:

Customer Journeys can only start with segments. So, you'll have to create 2 dynamic segments to kick of the journey. One dynamic segment for the first journey and first form. And another dynamic segment for the second journey and form. So yes, it is possible to kick off two different customer journeys for 2 different capture forms, even if they're on the same domain. Just be sure to call the correct form in your dynamic segment.

This is what I don't know:

Whether you need 2 different scripts on each page, or rather the same script on both pages. (I'm leaning more towards the same script on both pages, but require confirmation before sharing that any script with the client.)

    Hello,

You can use the same script on each page. The difference is in tracking: if the same script is used for all pages, all analytics insight will be from the same source.

The recommendation is to use the same script embedded in the page header of your website (using your CMS). This will ensure that the script is loaded on all pages of your website. You can then easily set up form capture for all forms (one by one) without any need for page modification.

    Thank you.
