Inventory adjustment in POS

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi all,

I get the message 'Operation is nut supported', when I want to perform an inventory adjustment.

I have done the following:

  • enabled the feature 'Support inventory adjustments from POS'
  • setup the inventory journal names with the 'POS adjustment type'
  • updated the POS permission group
  • setup a button for the operation in POS

Any other suggestions?

In which version you encountered such issue? In order to find out the root cause and solve the issue we might want to collect additional information for further investigation. I'd suggest you to reach out to our customer support team to kick off support process so engineering team could be properly engaged.

I have tried with both 'Inventory adjustment' and 'Inventory movement', and I did ran the 'initialize commerce scheduler' after enabling the feature.

Are you able to carry on with "Inventory movement" operation? Both are quite similar.

Also, try executing "Initialise commerce scheduler" just to be on safe side.
