Hi all,
I was copying the configurations of General ledger parameters, and found that the field "JournalSortingDirection" is not in DMF data entity "Ledger parameters". Would anyone know a quick fix for this?

Hi IvyYY, The easy and recommended fix is to expose this field in Data Entity and it would need code deployment. However, if you can't wait for deployment cycle on Test and prod environments then probably importing as Ascending and then changing to Descending in the legal entities via SQL script would be option. However, this would need Microsoft support ticket for production and will take time depending on Severity of support ticket.
How many legal entities are there.

In addition to Mohit feedback, you can use cross company data sharing to copy data for "Ledger parameters" to one or several companies.

Yes, I think you are absolutely right.
We have close to 200 legal entities for this project.
I don't know the urgency of changing it but if you/your Client can wait then expose field in data entity and deploy so you can use the field in future as well. Please let us know if still any issues.
