Hi Experts,

Can we disable the HTML codes from displaying on the description field of Notes entity? As you can see on the screenshot below, they only want to see the "Sample description" text and not the other HTML codes.

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Johao,

I created a new Notes from an account record. Then on the advanced find, I checked for newly created Notes.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi LMP,

This is because we are having rich text editor for adding notes.  But html code will not be displayed in social pane.

    Regards,

    Samira

Will also update this thread once I found something online. Thank you.

Edit: It is possible to disable Rich Text Format editor for Notes in System Settings > General > Enable rich text notes in Timeline.

    Thank you.

    Hello All,

We faced this same issue with Email entity records.

Worked with Microsoft on this issue & looks like this a known defect. We were able to solve this issue for Email Entity in two different ways.

Approach 1: For TimeLine purpose use DEFAULT CARD Form of Email Entity.

Approach 2: If you want to use customized Email Card form then make sure in the main Configuration Section/Details Section , Description field is not placed in the first position. Place it in the second position.

Working with Microsoft for other Entities. Will provide update to this thread once we get any update.

    Thanks,
    Sumit

    Thanks,
    Sumit
