Hi,

I created a service class extending SysoperationServiceBase with a run() and gave access to the menuitem that had its controller class in the privilege ,even added the serviceClass.run() to the server methods .But when I try accessing it from my role it gives me error.

Did you happen to write down the error message? Maybe it contains some information that others could use when trying to help you.

Anyway, you need to add the service operation in your privilege. You have two options:

    1) add it directly to Server methods node of your privilege. You need to add the method(s) that have SysEntryPointAttribute. Not run method.

    2) create a new Service in AOT, link it to your service class and operation. Drag the service operations to your privilege.
