Having a thick moment here but hopefully some one can help. I know there is a limitation on only having 1 Hostname assigned to the Portal and I can get ours working if I make this www.domain.com however, we need to have this setup so anyone coming to domain.com also gets to see the website.
I have a CNAME record in the DNS pointing www to our portal URL and I have an A record pointing to the IP address that is shown when I ping www.domain.com.
If I go to www.domain.com, I see the Portal content no probs but when I access domain.com, I get an error (This site is not secure - The hostname in the website’s security certificate differs from the website you are trying to visit. Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_CN_INVALID. Because this site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security, you cannot continue to this site at this time).
How do I go about forwarding anyone coming to domain.com to www.domain.com or should I be setting up DNS differently for this to work?
DNS hosted at GoDaddy if that helps any.
Amy advice appreciated.

I have the same question (0)Hi Steven,
Have you tried setting up a 301 redirect on your naked (non www domain) directly with GoDaddy?
That way the only traffic hitting your portal will be with the www.
I'd be careful about using an A record, since I don't think the IP of your portal is guaranteed to be static, although I know sometimes you don't really have a choice.
