How to set up a customer journey with different form-options?

Hi,

I have a question on how to manage different answers in a form to be applied in a customer journey.

E.g.:

I create a landingpage and insert a form. The form asks for option a and b. Now the customer journey should be like this:

  • If you opt for option a, you shall receive email 1.
  • If you opt for option b, you shal receive a different email 2.

How do I create the form and the customer journey to get this done?

Anyone knows? Thank you in advance.

best regards

    Hi Thomas,

thank you. But how do I assign a forms attribute to a segment?

I know how to choose the required form but not how to select the forms attribute to be assigned to the segment.

    Best regards

    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

You can just add and create 2 additional customer journey swim lanes/paths, with 2 different segments based on your 2 forms attributes. You don't need to use Power automate.

If you submit form A, you will receive email A.

If you submit form B, you will receive email B.

You will have 3 swim lanes in your customer journey.

Please make this answer as verified.

    Hi,

There are lots of templates that can help you building what you want in Power Automate.
Here a template of sending an email when the form is completed from Outlook:

Send an email from Outlook when the form is submitted | Microsoft Power Automate

Here a template of sending an email when the form is completed from Gmail:

Send an email after the form is completed | Microsoft Power Automate

Then you need to work with conditions so here is material that can help you guiding you when building your flow:

Solved: Adding condition to email flow - if user = x, emai... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
