How many input is available with filtering option, "is one of"?

Hi, I wonder how many contents can be input on "is one of"?

I often use this function with form as below.

Basically, this function looks can handle max 2,000 contents.

However, in case of (A*) format as above screen shot, it looks only under 1,000 contents can be inserted to this filtering function "is one of".

Could you answer how many input to this function with this case?

    Hi,

    What is the exact background of this question. Do you want to know if and why there might be a difference with numbering or alphabetical characters? Are you hitting the limits in your procedures? I think 1000 values is already a lot of options. I haven't used this filter option myself with more than 25 values. If you need to maintain too many values, you can probably better think of another option. E.g. add table joins to filter on certain attributes from other tables.

    Hi,

    In addition to Andrê's comment, you can use a match filter instead. with this filter you are able to use between filters like A..B

    Hi,

    When i use UI to perform this filter, I cannot find a limit. for example, I have done a filter (is one of) against 3866 records and it works fine

    I was able to filter 33,586 records with option 'is one of' and used in Sales order form but it end up in error 
    Stack trace: Binding operation failed to allocation buffer space.
     
    Again when I check the filter it show only 455 records as displayed value in the form.
