We're not using this Percent complete field in Task entity. We're sure that there are o customization done for this specific field. Any idea why is this being triggered? Can we stop this from being triggered? It updates the Modified By field which confuses Users because we're getting the Modified By field value for views and email that are being generated.

Maybe there are som integration/plugin that are updating the entity record were the percent complete field is selected and then updated using the selected entity record instead of only updating the changed fields. This can cause field changes to happpen without actually changing the value.
