Show a Line at Top of Section does NOT show any line in CRM 2016 / Dynamics 365

This problem just began in 2016.  Was wondering if anyone else has seen it or has a solution yet.

Have always used these lines at top of form sections to delineate content.  Forms get quite busy without it.  However, as soon as we upgraded to 2016, we noticed these lines were missing on our forms.  They were present and worked find on CRM 3, 4, 2011, 2013, 2015, etc.

They could be OOB or custom entities.  They could be version 8 or version 1.0 forms.  Same thing.  No matter what we've done to indicate we DO want them to show, they DO NOT show.

And since even with themes support the ability to control the UI is not very good in even the latest Dec. 2016 U2 v8.2 release, these lines are the ONLY way we can present a lot of content without it all bleeding together for users.

I'm wondering if it has to do with the new rendering engine?  But even if it did, you'd think MS would either deprecate the functionality, fix it, or at least make some documentation explaining what's going on more readily accessible.  Google has produced no results (yet).

Has anyone else seen this behavior yet, or does anyone have a solution?

Thank you.

    Hi Daniel,
I have CRM 2016 Online 8.1 version, and this works fine for me, if you have the same version then its not a bug for sure. And it does not seem that I might have an answer for this. I would suggest you to raise a ticket to Microsoft and get it fixed.

We also have the same issue using Dynamics 365. We were previously running Dynamics CRM 2016 Update 1 without an issue. Lines appeared as expected.

Agreed that without it the form looks busy.

Did you raise a ticket with Microsoft for this issue ? We are currently running an organisation using Dynamics 365 online instance and unable to use Lines at Sections in form.

    Cheers !

no because MS rips people off by making you burn support cases at your expense for things that are bugs and then makes the process of getting it credited back very difficult so we just have to wait till someone else brings the bug to their attention

I came across similar issue while using Dynamics 365 instance . I have raised a CRM Support ticket # 117030694124998 and Microsoft Support Team have confirmed it to be a product bug. They are planning to fix this issue in 8.2.1.xxx version , ETA - June 2017.

    Cheers!

Hello. Tenfold can also help in integrating Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft and enabling click to dial in Outlook. They also support MS Dynamics integration. Our click to dial also works on webpages opened in Chrome. www.tenfold.com/.../dynamics
