User time registers data quality

Hello everyone, 

We just noticed that we have strange occurrences in User Time Registers table in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

In fact, we have some users who have spent more that 24 hours per day per company... How is it possible ? What can be the reason of this ?

    Hi,

    Sometime User Login session not refresh, that why you have experienced this type of data.

    use the below link for cancel or kill the sessions.

    To my knowledge there is no such function in the standard system.

    The solution around this that i have seen have been customized and there use kind of clock them self in and out of work when they open and close Business Central.

    There are some solutions available in AppSource that might be worth checking:

    But i have no knowledge about this solution myself.

    Hi Inge,

    Thank you for this confirmation. So this table is a little bit confusing... because users can work in multiple windows.

    Is there any alternative table which displays the "correct" time register ?

    Yes, BC will add time from all sessions even if they run in parallel. So you got your explanation there.

    Thanks for reply, yes I can confirm that this user (and others) have several sessions open at the same time.

    So Business Central is counting double, triple etc... as many times as there are open sessions ?

    The user's profile has not scheduled any process that appears in the Job Queue Entries.
