I am curious if we have an out-of-the-box form in Business Central with two grids side by side.
If not, if anyone tried to build a custom layout using two grids?

There’s no standard Business Central page that displays two editable grids side by side out of the box. However, you can build a custom page (typically of type Card or ListPart) that includes two Part controls displaying list pages in a side-by-side layout using a Group container with horizontal orientation.

This is usually done by:

Creating a Card page layout

Embedding two ListPart pages inside using Part controls

Setting the container Group to layout = horizontal

This is a common approach for custom "comparison" or "selection" pages.

I should have been more explicit in explaining the requirement that I am looking for a reference form where two grids are side by side and selecting the record on the left hand side grid filters the result on the right hand side grid.

Hello,

As standard, there is no page that has exactly two grids side by side. The closest would be the bank reconciliation page, or perhaps the sales order (header and details), but it does not have the filters you mention.

A card page with two defined parts would have to be developed.
