Uploading budgets for multiple entities at once

Hi all,

I’d like to upload budget data for multiple entities at once. The information is currently in Excel. Is this possible (in the SAAS solution of BC365)? And if yes, how would you recommend to do this?

Thanks a lot!

Best,

Bart

By entities, I'm assuming you mean companies.  I do not believe that without customization such an upload is available as each company is a unique set and data and it takes special coding to cross that company barrier.

If entities are dimensions, then no problem and upload is easy, but I don't think what you are asking.

Thanks Kim, it’s indeed about multiple Companies.

There just really isn't anything that will cross companies. You could potentially look at a job queue to load unattended in each company but it might take longer to get that setup than just doing the load one company at a time.

Hi, If you're talking about G/L Budgets, you can use standard features to import and export data.

But as Kim said, this doesn't support multi-company. If you want to customize, you can refer to the following method to do it.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.
