If your URL is CRMOrgName.domain.com then i assume you have IFD configured and if you want to change the CRM Organization URL you'd need to do following

    1. Change the OrgName when importing the CRM Organization via the deployment manager

    2. create a DNS record for the new OrgName

    3. Update the FederationMetadata in ADFS

    4. If not using a wildcard certificate *.domain.com then you'd need to update the certificates as well.

You won't find any references towards the CRM Organizations in IIS - i think the link is built using the URL rewritter module when the request reaches the CRM Platform. All the CRM Organization information is in the deployment manager visible.

Please check this article that explains how claims based authentication is configured www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Hope this helps,

Thank you for your response ,

I created new org in prod localhost/.../main.aspx and i can access it .

    https://testorg.domain.ae  is not working.

I created a record in host of crm app server like CRMAPPSERVERIP (XXX.XXX.XX.XXX)  testorg.domain.ae

then when browsed  it is pointing to the default organisation.

You won't find any references towards the CRM Organizations in IIS - i think the link is built using the URL rewritter module when the request reaches the CRM Platform. All the CRM Organization information is in the deployment manager visible. -can i get any reference article of how this redirection is happening.

And in ur point 2 DNS record for new orgName -where this has to be created.
