Hello,

I would like your assistance regarding the inventory cycle or scenario.

A company that needs to implement the Purchasing and Inventory control modules to track its items (internally used) but my question is what is the completion of the cycle Purchasing to fill the stock and inventory to track it what about the consumed items knowing that they don't have sales or projects for expenses.

Thank you,

Since you do not sell these items and consume them internally, your only option is to do a negative inventory adjustment.

Are the items being produced internally? or are they being purchased?

If purchased - you can use the standard POP process. The Receivings Transaction entry is the transaction that will increase your stock. If they are being produced internally - you will need to use an Inventory Increase transaction to record the uplift of stock.

Eithre way - to reduce / consume the stock you will need to use an Inventory Decrease transaction - since you are not issuing the stock to a sale, project, Manufacturing etc.

    Ian.
