Deploying CRM

We are a small company currently using a P1 subscription for o365, but I think this is now called 'Office 365 Small Business'. I am also looking at deploying Microsoft Dynamics CRM within my company. Looking at both on-premises and online options, comparing costs etc.

My question is this - can the online version of CRM be used with either 'Small Business' or 'Small Business Premium'?

Thanks

Karen

Apologies for sounding a bit thick, but just to make sure...

we can add the licence for CRM to our Small Business licence. its just that on the msdn site for the trial guide it says you need enterprise plans e3 or e4.

    Thanks

Yes, you are correct. An E3 or E4 plan is required to fully integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.

Refer to technet.microsoft.com/.../jj863696.aspx for more info.

So, what would happen if we went ahead with the online version of CRM without upgrading our 0365 to an enterprise plan? At the moment the users of o365 only really access email via Outlook. The online interface isn't used except by me as the plan admin.

    Thanks

    Hello Karen,

If you subscribe for a new online version of CRM, without upgrading your office 365 plan, you will end up creating a different Office 365 account for the new CRM online subscription.

Microsoft Online Account gives you the ability of Single sign on, wherein you can use the same credentials to access several products in Office 365. However with a new subscription of CRM Online, you will not be able to use the same credentials that you use to login to your existing office 365 account.

For further details about subscriptions and plans, you can contact Microsoft Online billing team at 8008659408, select option 1.

    Hi,

Sorry, one more question. Would CRM work with O365 Midsize Business plan?

    Thanks

I have just created a new instance of CRM Online with Office 365 Midsize Business Plan so yes, it will work with Office 365 Midsize Business Plan.

    Refer community.dynamics.com/.../comparing-office-365-enterprise-and-midsized-business-plans.aspx for more info.
