Change Smallest in Number sequence form

Hi all,

I have a number sequence code like that:

Continuous: Check

In use: Check - un-editable

Smallest: 20

Largest: 999

Next: 20.

In segment form, I changed Constant to the new number according to the fiscal year.

( 17 => 18)

Then, when I try to change Smallest number from 20 => 1, the error shows:

"Value cannot be changed because the number sequence is in use."

How can I solve it?

    You did not specify which number sequence it is, but a general answer:

    Unselect the number sequence where it is selected in setup (could be on a parameters form, on a journal name etc.), make the change you want, and re-select the number.

    Many thanks for your reply.

    I think the reason is because "In use" checkbox is ticked.

    I tried your same way but it wasn't successful ("In use" is still check).

    We decided to create new number sequence codes.

    I found 2 solutions for this issue. everyone can refer to:
