Dynamics GP 8.0 SP4 to GP 2013 Upgrade Path

Hello,

I have found conflicting information on the upgrade path from Great Plains 8 to GP 2013.

Current Prod: SQL 2000 & Great Plains 8.0 SP4

Mid-Step: Server 2008 R2/SQL 2008 R2

Future Prod: SQL/Windows Server 2012 and GP 2013

If updating to Great Plains 8 SP5 is not an option, what is the quickest path from 8.0 to GP 2013?

Thank you

    Jon,

This is the upgrade path from Dynamics GP 8.0 to GP 2013.

Microsoft Dynamics GP 8.0 >> Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 >> Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013

For your reference, have a look on below link.

    Hope this helps!!!

There is no version check on GP 8 so you do not need to be on SP5. I would recommend going from GP 8 to latest build of GP 10 and then to GP 2013.
