Dear Expert,

Is it posible to add note button at key field inside grid?.

i make customized screen in vb.net (visual studio 2010) we can add the note button at the properties, there are only 3 type : None, Left side, Right side

i have tested in header level (level 0) for 1 key field, i choose properties note button : right side, it looks succesfull view the note button after running the form.

When i tried the same way, for key field (which is have grid (level1)), i don't know why the note button can't viewed.

could some one tell me is it posible?, if can, is there anything i missed when setting the properties?.

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,

Musa

You do pretty much the same thing that you do in a normal (non-grid) level.

The only rules that come to mind are:-

    - You must have a column called NoteId (an Int) in the table

    - The level property of the key field must contain ",k"

In other words, if the grid is level 1, then the key field's level property will be 1,k

A difference is that the note icon (created by the kernel) is not on every grid line.

There is a single icon at the bottom of the grid.

But it applies to whichever grid line last had the focus.

So, if you are residing on line 4, then click the grid's Note icon, you will be dealing with the note for line 4.
