 We are migrating to SL 7 service pack 3  from 6.5

but when we are creating a new empty database  there is always an error

 

-214721692 [Microsoft] ODBC sql Server Driver] SQL Server]
Could not find stored procedure 'Master.dbo.xp_loginInfo'

 

Please help

    Not very sure but may be a permission issue?  By default execute permission for xp_loginInfo (Sql 2005 onwards) is granted to  members of the db_owner fixed database role in the master database and members of the sysadmin fixed server role.

     Hi Nayan

     we resolve the issue , we change the version of MS sql server 2008 
    the only glitch now is the collation issue .

    As per the installation guide (sl_install.pdf, page 26):

    Microsoft Dynamics SL requires that you install SQL Server using the default settings for Sort Order and Character Set. In addition, on the Authentication Mode page of the Microsoft SQL Server Installation Wizard, you must select Mixed Mode (Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication).
