SharePoint document size limit in CRM SharePoint integration

Posted on by

Hi Guys,

Currently, we have a limit of 50mb when trying to upload from the documents associated view.

Is there any way to avoid this limit to SharePoint limit which is much higher ?

Thanks for your feedbacks

    Hi Emmanuel,

I am facing the same restriction, did you find a solution/workaround?  I have requirement where a portal user should be able to upload a file of up 1GB of size, we have already enabled SharePoint integration for the portal and it used for other features however we this restriction of 50 MB is becoming a blocker!!!

     Cheers,

    Red

    Hi Aprit,

I fear you're right, this article seem to confirm that there is no workaround for this limit unless maybe with some development and/or using kingswaysoft SSIS suites component (to be confirmed) to load documents to SharePoint and link them to the CRM entity.

    Cheers,

    Emmanuel

    Hi Emmanuel,

    Learned something new today.

This message was not appearing in the earlier version of CRM while uploading a document in SharePoint. SharePoint File Upload Limit were being decided with the same setting as the size limit for email attachments. (Like I told you before)

I had a look lot of article and finally, I got one post where it is mentioned that Maximum file upload limit in Dynamics 365 has been restricted to 50 MB.

    Hi Aprit,

    Thank you for your feedback

In fact, the limit of 125mb is already set in email attachments but I still see this message when trying to upload a document bigger thant 50 MB:

    sharepoint-limite.jpg

So this setting does not seem to monitor this limit.

    Any idea ?

    Emmanuel

    Hi Emmanuel,

The maximum file attachment and SharePoint Upload limit is 128 MB (128000 KB) for D365 CRM online. By default, this limit is set to 5 MB. But you can change it up to 125 MB.

(Settings > Administration > System Settings > Email > Set file size limit (in KB) for attachements)
