GS1-128 Barcodes in AX 2012

Does anyone have experience of creating GS1-128 barcodes with AX 2012?

I need to produce reports containing a shared barcode for item and batch id (application id 01 for GTIN item number and 10 for batch number). Not sure how to construct this string and what font to use to display this information?

We are planning on using the RFSmart application to process our various stock transfers.

    GS1-128 can be created by using the Code 128 barcode font with the GS1-128 Application Identifiers encoded. Places parentheses around Application Identifiers (AIs) in GS1-128. Take a look at this vb barcode font encoder that format data for 128 barcode font to create gs1-128.

    I'm using barcode generator to creat  GS1-128.

    It can generate GS1-128 as well as other kinds of barcodes.
