Error when Logging into Dynamics 365 Unified Ops Mobile App

We are exploring the Expense Management functionality in D365FO and getting an error when attempting to login to the mobile app.  The error is "We couldn't reach the address that you provided.  Please check the URL and verify that you are connected to the network."  The URL includes https and if I copy the url and paste it into my phone browser, I am able to access the D365 environment.  We also published the Expense Management mobile app from the D365 environment.

There is a troubleshooting page for the D365 Mobile app (Common issues and resolutions for Dynamics 365 for phones and tablets | Microsoft Learn) but this is not one of the errors covered.

Any ideas what I am missing?

We are on version 10.0.29.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Mark,

I just tried setting up the same scenario. I'm using a 10.0.32 environment and don't have issues. Have you checked if the URL might be case-sensitive? Is your environment on-premise or a cloud instance?

It is indeed case sensitive.  All caps did the trick.

    Thanks.

Ugh!  Spoke too soon.  This allowed me to enter my userid and password and two-factory authentication, but then I got the error "We could not complete the login process.  Please try again later."

What type of deployment is this environment?

This is a cloud deployment.  Further research says that the mobile app I am attempting to use is being deprecated, however the 2023 Release wave 1 describes enhancements to the Expense Mobile app.  I'm not sure what I am supposed to use.  We are about to begin our upgrade to 10.0.32.  Perhaps it will look differently after the upgrade.

    Hi Mark,

The mobile app is indeed announced to be deprecated. Microsoft recommends using Power Apps as a replacement.

I do expect that, like the timesheet app, the new enhanced Expense Mobile app (expected in September) will be a native mobile app or also a Power App.

For sure, I would recommend trying it again on a 10.0.32 environment.
