How to create advanced notes attachment for Bill of Lading on Sales order

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to create notes attachment for Bill of lading.

Whatever customer is ticked for Bill of lading, the notes attachments should be created for the sales order with that customer.

how can i achieve this.

HI Nikita,

Can you please explain your question? In my standard environment, I don't have the Bill of Lading field on the Customer advanced notes setup form. Is this a customization? Can you check this?

Is there now a difference in behavior between e.g. Packing slip and the Bill of Lading setting?

yes this a customization.

and now i want to generate notes for bill of lading upon creation of the sales order.

Hi,
You need to evaluate customization to have notes on bil of lading via Advanced note.

Hi,

So, firstly i want advanced notes to get created for Bill of Lading document on the Sales order(upon creation even before confirmation) and then copy it to the actual bill of lading document upon posting.

After some modifications to the isCompliantDocumentStatus() and onDocumentField() of FreeNotesTable_IT table, i am able see the notes(5) generated from back end but unable to see it on sales order.

I can see the notes record for bill of lading is created in DocuRef table, but it is not showing up on the sales table notes form.

Can anyone help me what could be the reason?
