Net Amount left in blank or wrong calculated in Sales order Lines after Migration Ax 2012

Posted on by 529

Hi all,

I have just migrated all open sales orders (header and lines) from AX3.0 to AX2012

problems is that when I take a look into the sales lines in many cases the net amount is just not calculated or is miss calculated

for examples qty: 500 * Unit mount: 225  gives a net amount of : 117.500 which is not true. or in the majority of cases is just left in blank

Any help is greatly appreciated guys.

thanks a lot for your time

I had made a script. calculates and updates the LineAmount for all open migrated orders.

after that I updated my Processing group's source mapping and added the LineAmount. so for future sales orders migrations I will migrate all together with LineAmount included at once. I thing that is the best option. thank you guys for your time

You need to debug what causes it, and perhaps then you already figure out how to solve it.

If not, please share all details that you learn in debugging it.

    I added the modifySalesQty

now is asking me to Recalculate ships and receipt dates? I select yes for each line. but the sales order is still the same. does not update the net amount :(

    Nestor,

use the InventDim of your sales line.

Hi Ludwig. No I did not import the Net Amount. because on the purchase orders it was not needed

You could try to call method SalesLine::modifySalesQty in your code (it can be found if you follow SalesLine\modifiedField method, which is executed when user modifies a field via a form.

    Hi,

What AX2012 version do you operate exactly?

Did you include the net amount into your migration sheet and upload it?

How did you do the actual upload?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Nikolaos,

    thanks for replying

With DIXF. the same I did with the Purchase orders. Just that for the purchase orders the net amount is calculated correctly I dont know whats going on.

if I update the salesprice manually the net amount gets updated correctly. so I tried to do kinda same logic with a x++ Job but not refreshing the Net Amount. not even by clearing all the salesprices to zero(0)
