Order Pool Not Editable when Sales Status is picking list, Delivered , Invoiced

Hi,

One of the business requiremtns to be implemented in MAX 2009 is to make Order Pool mandatory and non editable when the status of the sales order goes into Picking list, Delivery and Invoiced.

I have done the mandatory bit, just make the field in the table Mandatory. But I am stuck with making it Non editable when the status is beyong Open Order. Should the modifiedField function be modifid at table level or at form level ?

Any suggestions to resolve this is greatly appreciated .
