I have a question from a customer, regarding tracking.
Is there a way to build use Google tags to better track behavior and pages visited in the online shop, when the journey starts with an e-mail in Marketing? Today, the customer is using UTM-tracking in the URL. She thinks it is a bit time-consuming and deficient. Previously, she had Click Dimensions, and there she could use a script to link the web page and the CRM to get insights in Google analytics without UTM-tracking. With UTM-tracking she can read visits, clicks and number of purchases in Google Analytics. Is it possible to set-up Google tags, and link the script from Marketing to web site to get better customer insights? And if possible, how would you proceed?
