Bank of America Transactions into GP

Hi there, I work in what one would describe a midsize-corporations. Our IT budget is relatively limited so brand new and expensive software is not a possibility.

The issue that I have is this, we have a number of Bank Of America bank accounts and we have regular transactions in it, checks deposited, ACHs,Wires, checks.

Is there a program from BoA or an add on program like say SmartConnect that would allow us to load transactions into GP Dynamics faster.

If it is possible how does the coding work, for example if a check comes in how do we make sure it goes to the right account.

We download from Chase and it's a custom integration using Scribe. SmartConnect could certainly be used for yours. As far as account coding that happens on the Chase web site as far as we can, and we enhance that as part of our integration.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand the question right, but you may want to look in the Bank Reconciliation module in GP.. Very basic, but could do the job.

There are better 3rd party ISV products out there, like Advance Bank Rec from Nolan Computer systems..

You probably could do it with Scribe or SmartConnect.. but there is more coding involved and not necessarily cheaper if you don't own already the above software for other integration.
