No, I'm not mistaken, because now I found em.
But unfortunately some of them content has been removed :(

Switch filters to R3 you can still find those courses.
Let's say I have a project with AX 2012 and need to quickly learn trade & logistics - now the only way to do it is with D365 videos. Or those old student training materials.
I think you are mistaken. Videos were mostly made available by bloggers and partners, but there are no official training videos, only a very few here and there (like Channel9).

Training materials for AX 2012 were not published on DLP, but are available on PartnerSource/CustomerSource and redirects to the imagine virtual academy/e-learning sites.
