Data import using Worker data entity

Hi All,

I am using a data entity  to import new  worker. HCMWorkerEntity

it says the  data imported when I go and see the  the worker which is created is not visible in the form.

I think may be  it has to do something to do  valid from date if I am not wrong

Please let me know your feedback on this or how to activate the  data and show in the front end on the list page

In SQL when we tun the query then the record shows the newly created worker with the personnel number.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Rohit,

It can indeed be related to several effective dates. Can you tell which exact columns you provided with what values? Did you also import employment details? This is the key to know if a worker is active or not for the application.

    Hi Rohit,

Thank you for using Dynamics 365 Finance Communities.

    1. The employees that are available to be viewed in the form is based on the Display the records as of date information.

Please help to make sure especially if you have future dated employees that the dates are updated accordingly.

    2. Also please check if your workers are listed in the Inactive Workers view.  If the workers are in this view, the employees need to be 'hired' in a legal entity or please help to make sure that you have imported data for the HcmEmploymentEntity as well for the employment details.

    3. There is a thread that discusses this as well through the link below:

If the responses provided helped you, please help mark the question as answered.

as Marian suggested, legal entity and as of date filter is crucial for viewing employee details
