How to put an approval workflow on Invoices posted from Purchase Orders

I want invoices created from purchase orders to go through an approval process before they are posted. What filter would I put on the approval workflow for that to happen?

    Hi Kemi, 

    I believe that's not possible.

    In your scenario, Purchase Invoice seems to be automatically created and posted from the Purchase Order. Therefore, there is no open document that you can send for approval.

    You would have to create the Purchase Invoice manually (and get the receipt lines), send the document for approvel (using Purchase Invoice Approval Workflow) and after the document is approved you can post it.
