How to translate Extension from AppSource

Hi,

we use some AppSource extensions. Unfortunately they are available only in a few languages, and we need to add a German translation. Is there a way to generate a XLF template from such Extensions? Then it should be possible to create own extension with a german XLF file based on the generated template.

    You can't translate someone else AppSource extension. You can always contact the AppSource developer and ask them for German translation.

    ..... or you could of course offer them to assist them with a German translation.

    I guess many partners only do translations to languages they have in house resources to complete.

    Hi, There are two ways to do translation.

    1. You need to get their app project code, add new language translations in it, and repackage it, which is obviously impossible.

    2. If their app is expandable, you can add your Caption in table extension or page extension, and then translate the Caption you added in your App. This is possible, but it is also very troublesome.
