Reporting on Multiple Competitors

I would like to create a report that displays all open opportunities as well as all competitors set against the open opportunity.  I am running into an issue with open opportunities with multiple competitors set against them where the report will only display the first competitor listed.  

Does anyone know how I can adjust my report to display all competitor names?

    Hi Molly,

    What tool are you using to report with?  I would use the report wizard for this and select the Opportunity entity first, then the Competitors entity.

    Hi Gretchen,

    I used the report wizard, and selected Opportunities first and then Competitors. When I set up the display field, I added "Competitor Name" to the columns, but this only pulls the first Competitor that is set against the opportunity. I was able to also add "Competitor" to the column list but this resulted in each opportunity that had two competitors being listed twice (once with the first competitor and once with the second).  We have several opportunities that have up to three competitors listed against them.  I am wondering how to display this in the report.

    Hi Molly,

    Fields from the Opportunity can only be in the three group-by slots at the top of the report.  Then competitors would be in the body of the report.  If you include fields from the opportunity as columns in the report, it will list the opportunity again for each competitor.  Is that what you are seeing?

    I would suggest grouping by Customer and then by Topic and then listing the competitors--something of that nature.
