Why we have the default currency code as BAS in SL? Usually, we get some valid currency code in other ERPs. I know we can create the code as per our requirement.

    BAS is the "Base" currency code used in SL.  You can create various other currency codes if you want them.  BAS is used in SL as it is not limited to just being for a certain country and can be set up to be whatever the end user would like.
