The Microsoft Dynamics SL Project Integration service on one of the hosts used to support Dynamics SL is set to Automatic, but it will not start. Everything seems to be running fine, but can anyone tell me what this service is for and if the service being stopped is normal?

The Microsoft Dynamics SL Project Integration service manages the integration between Dynamics SL project controller and Microsoft Project Server. Assuming you have an integrated environment, it should be running.
Look in the system application log files to see why it's not starting up.
