CRM 2011 On-Premise: How do I find the Back end server?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello

I have a CRM 2011 On-premise instance, in the deployment manager I can see there are two servers (as in screenshot).

- Front End Server

- SQL Server

Where can I find the Back End Server? Reason I ask is I have to restart the CRM services.

Many thanks for your reply

Thanks

    Hi Gopalan

I am not able to access the CRM hence why I am looking for the CRM Asynchronous services to restart them.

    Thanks

    Hi

Did you check your Sandbox Plugins are running without error?

Did you check your workflows are running without error?

I am not mentioning the Sandbox service. Check within CRM whether the above two are working (by creating or updating records, accordingly).

    Hi Gopalan

Yes other services are there only the CRM Async services are missing.

    Thanks

    Hi

From your previous thread, I could see that there are other services running.

Your Sandbox plugins and workflows are running?

Might be worst case scenario, but it looks to me like you may have a corrupted deployment there.

    Here is another, similar, thread:

    Hi Gopalan

The components mentioned in the Front End Server are,

    - Web Application Server

    - Organization Web Service

    - Discovery Web Service

    - Help Server

    - Deployment Administration Server (Deployment Tools, Deployment Web Service)

    - SRS Data Connector

    Thanks

    Hi

As you are having SQL separate, please check what are all the components mentioned in the Front End.

    Right click and Properties.
