Management Reporter Error-Value cannot be null

Hi,

I installed Management Reporter 2012. I had no issues while installing and imported Fabrikam and our production company. If I select Fabrikam, I am not having any problem. But if I choose our production company I am getting the following error:

The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework.

I click ok then the application closes and getting another message "Value cannot be null. Parameter name:dimension"

I am quite new to management reporter and have no clue. I have checked about the functional currency, empty budget etc and everything seem to be in order.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue. on version 2.1.1029.3. I have verified there is a functional currency setup and there are no budgets in the system. I cannot create a column or a row. Suggestions?

Has a solution been found for this yet?

I installed MR RU4 today and it was working fine. I was running simple trial balance from the AA company and had no problem. I then tried to run the report again and got an error message. When I now try to create a new row or column definition I get the error message "Parameter name:dimension" and the program just closes. It still works fine for the non AA companies and for Fabrikam AA but any AA company gives the same error message. I also get the error message in the configuration console for the datamart saying invalid column name "Year1" which I know is from an AA table. I disabled the datamart, unisntalled MR and reinstalled but still get the same problem, I cannot understand how it worked once then shut down, no one else was using MR or GP so I do not know what the cahnge was.

I also get the same detail error message as Chris Flood.

Has anyone found a solution for this. We are having the same issue.

In MR logged into the newly created Datamart company.

First Error Message when you try to create a new Column Layout or open an existing one. "The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework." Click OK then

Error is "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source"

I cannot figure out what it(MR) thinks is null. No issue at all creating Rows.
