Swap Out TM-T88V Error

I bought a new printer the exact same model as the old printer and was planning to just unplug one and plug in the other, but it's not working. I've looked at the dip switches and rebooted the computer. It gives me error 425 Printer could not be accessed. It may locked by another application. Shouldn't be that difficult.

Try uninstalling the OPOS driver from Epson OPOS and re install it. Dont forget to put same logical name.

You may have a registred profile or a network IP access for your old printer that is most probably still assigned to your old one, and, in this case, even if you bought the same model, there is a unique key ID proper to any devices related to computing and you should remove all profiles or settings datas from your old printer on home and remote computer(s). Server or your desktop computer return error 425 for a non authorization accessibility thru a defined port for maybe printer network or print sharing. Locate device(s) from where error is returned and reset all related printer settings from the network. You should ask your business network administrator to do that: it is an easy task for him... Plus, I must congratulate you for the choice of your printer, that is a really efficient product!!!

Also, I would recommend to check the OPOS driver.  Run a check health on it to see if it registers.  If it fails, then try to re-create the device.  This will take less time than re-installing the whole OPOS driver, and you won't need to worry about an active X error with Store Operations.

    Best Regards,

    Shawn with Microsoft Retail Support.
