    Emad,

The error means the inventory transaction for the purchase order line has a relation to an InventDim record (via inventDimId) that has the warehouse specified.  What makes this somewhat confusing is that forms will only display the *active* inventory dimensions, so even though the warehouse *is* specified, it shows up that it is not.

This shouldn't happen with normal Dynamics AX use.  If I had to make an educated guess as to the cause, it could be:

    - Inventory Dimension group on the item master (InventTable) was updated through code

    - Inventory Dimension record was updated to add the warehouse through code

    - Inventory Transaction record which is related to the Purchase Order Line was updated through code to change the inventDimId.

In order to get past this error, try changing the inventory dimension on the Purchase Order line to something different, save, then change it back (we're hoping it will reset the inventDimId).  If your line has already been (at least partially) shipped, then that's a bigger issue that should be looked into more thoroughly.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Jonathan

    Dear Jonathan ,

many thanks for this good info ,

the point is the item itself doesnt have a warehouse because of its type. but actually no code modification happened , fortunately i made a test environment and the line wasnt delivered even partially thanks to god so i removed it then added it again then the user made the packing slip and violla it worked  :))

I suggest opening a completely new thread on this issue, since this thread is years old.

Please give the full error message and show what the Inventory transactions look like.

Is the warehouse specified in the InventTrans? Is there any default warehouse in the PO header?
