Hello all,

Currently, we have a Dev, UAT, and Prod environments. We want to keep the data clean in these environments from garbage test data. So once a quarter I want to delete most records created in an environment. (Things like custom entity records, Contacts, Accounts, etc.). What's my best approach to automate this? Power automate? (I'm worried about hitting request limit that I have) Bulk delete OOB? (I don't want to create an auto bulk delete for about 50 entities ) or ADF? (Not sure how to use this one but was told it's an option)

    Hi,
I would suggest you use OOB 'Bulk Record Deletion'.
--It is simple and easy to operate.
Power auotmate In addition to the request limitations you mentioned, it uses the ''action to delete records, which also requires selecting the corresponding table.
You mentioned ADF, the full name should be Azure Data Factory:

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Hi,

Based on the replies in the following thread.

Therefore, you might want to consider a combination of Power Automate Flow and bulk deletion to delete records.
For example, handling complex deletion tasks such as associations with other entities in Power Automate.
Simple, straightforward deletion tasks are handled in Bulk Delete.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li
