Is there a way to see the GL distribution ( GL voucher) before posting any voucher document ? for example when I save a purchase receipts, can I see the expected GL voucher before posting the receipts?

Thanks

    Hello Sam,

I assume that you rever to purchase orders and related receipt and invoice postings.

For PO transactions, you can't identify the complete voucher that will be posted but you can identify the subledger Transactions. If you are in the PO invoice form, try identifying the financials tab and there the Accounting-view distributions section. The form that opens when you select this button will show you the subledger transactions that will be created when you post an invoice.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello,

Under Financial tab you can see Subledger journal button, this will appear in many forms where a sub-ledger posting is valid (A/R, A/P, ..).

    thank you,

    Hi,

I  am using Dynamics 365. I don't see the financial tab like in AP or Purchase receipts. Can you send me screenshots please?

    Thanks

    Sam
