Hi
Our team is using Dynamics 365's entity in early bound format.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/data-platform/org-service/generate-early-bound-classes
https://github.com/microsoft/PowerApps-Samples/tree/master/cds/orgsvc/C%23/QueriesUsingLINQ
However, I think I heard somewhere that they no longer support the use of ServiceContext and IOrganizationService and only support the use of WebAPI later.
If that happens, the code of many projects that you have been working on will become unusable.
I want to know the truth, so I write to the community
Thanks
as far as I know this phrase
"However, I think I heard somewhere that they no longer support the use of ServiceContext and IOrganizationService"
is totally false, but you can check with the person that said such message
hope it helps
thanks for the reply
Hi.
There are 2 things being deprecated:
a) Using WS-Trust. On Important changes (deprecations) coming in Power Apps and Power Automate - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs you have documentation about this. Also on Use of Office365 authentication with Microsoft Dataverse (Microsoft Dataverse) - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs you have some code examples
b) Using oData: this is documented on OData v2.0 Service removal date announcement | Microsoft Power Apps. Basically, calls to /xrmservices/2011/organizationdata.svc will stop working.
