CAC Cards for GP login

We have government customers that have requirements mandated by the Department of Defense.

The DOD is requiring that GP logins must use Common Access Card solution with PKI authentication.

In other words logging in to GP with a user name and a password is not acceptable.

Is anyone aware of an ISV solution for  Common Access Card  aka CAC card ? 

We have a development team who can write a custom solution but our customers are looking for an off the shelf solution.

They will be upgrading from GP 2010 to GP 2013 this year and GP 2016 next year. They also will be evaluating the Web client.

    Has there been any other development on CAC enabling MS Dynamics since last year.  I work with a defense agency who is also trying to set up MS Dynamics, but requires CAC login by its personnel.  Any success stories, or suggestions.

    Hi Robert,

    I'm not aware of any of-the-shelf CAC solution for Dynamics GP specifically..

    The good news is that you're moving to GP 2013 or 2016 soon, so you could take advantage of the Web client with integrated Windows Authentication. All you would have to find is a 3rd party CAC solution that supports the Windows AD model..
