    Hi and Thanks Bharat

Unfortunately I don't think the standard mail merge functionality ties in with the new way of doing templates in CRM 2016 with XML mappings.

Unless you can advise me other wise?

I have not been able to get this to work in any way , so I have used the composite Address1 field. This populated the address onto my quote one a single line, I have asked the customer to manually split the address when the quote is printed.

    Hi Iain

I was about to post the same answer.  Have you managed to find out anything further since posting this query?

We've found a work around solution, which is not pretty, but works. After each content control, put a carriage return, but make it 1pt in size. The content control maintains the size of the text so it still looks fine, but if it is blank, it only takes up 1pt in space. I'd like to hear if there is a better solution though!

I have tried this but cant work out how to put the CR after a content control - can you explain please?

It makes it a lot easier if you have the paragraph formatting visible (the backwards P symbol). Here is a screen shot of my address fields in design mode. The P just looks like a small dot at the end of the row after it's made 1pt. Put the cursor at the end of the line, just before the P and use shift and cursor right button to just select the P at the end of the row.

Let me know how you get on :)

I cant see a screen shot but know what you mean about the P symbol so will give this a go and let you know.

Changing the Paragraph marker to 1px worked for me.

    Really happy!  Thanks
