How to call a procedure in Business Central from Power Automate

Hi experts,

I would like to make a Power Automate, where the user can enter some fields (date, text, image from camera) and then send the values to my procedure in Business Central cloud.

How do I do that?

I cannot find any description of unbound actions - except for making a simple codeunit and make it public in the "Web services" page. That does not make it visible in Power Automate.

When I make a bound action on my own table or on a normal Business Central table, then my code in the procedure is not run.

Hope you can help.

Yes, you can call a Business Central procedure from Power Automate, but since unbound actions aren't directly visible in Power Automate, the best approach is to create a codeunit with a [ServiceEnabled] procedure, publish it as a web service, and then call it using an HTTP request from Power Automate.

    1. Create a codeunit with [ServiceEnabled] attribute.

    2. Publish it from the Web Services page in BC.

    3. Use Power Automate’s HTTP action to send a SOAP request to the service.

This works well even for sending text, dates, or base64 images from Power Automate into BC logic.
