How to delete the record from DimensionAttributeValueCombination table?

Hi,

I am trying to delete a record from DimensionAttributeValueCombination table but it gives me the following error -

Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Procedure DimensionAttributeValueCombination_INSTEADOFDELETETRIGGER, Line 7 [Batch Start Line 2]DimensionAttributeValueCombination cannot be deleted. Deleting this data might damage your accounting data.

I even tried deleting the record from the parent table but it was giving same error. Please help me in deleting the record.

Hi Harshal,

You can't delete the records. Microsoft provided a statement that you can read here: Prepare for dimension table changes in Financial Dimension Framework - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog

Leave the record untouched to prevent any possible data corruption.

Is the particular record causing issues in a production environment? In that case, I would suggest contacting Microsoft Support.
