Registry in Navision is missing entry No vs Data Dump from journals posted

Hi All

I am new on this forum so apologize if this question may have been answered. We provided our auditors a dump of of 6 months data. They also requested a Registry report for the same period, they have identified that there are some discrepancies between both reports in terms of  ranges of entry no jumping in the registry report.

When we query NAV 365 we can see the entries posted but when they reference this to the registry these ranges are missing. Does anyone one know what the cause can be is this an IT Database issue or can this physically be deleted by error on the Registry etc..

Any one shedding a light on this would be very grateful?

    Hi,

May be you need G/L registers. You can search for G/L Registers and you can find a report and page as well.

    Hi Bilal

It's not the GL Register, but Registers in Nav 365 my sequence jumps from 10429984 to 10430147 so i am missing from 10429985 to 10430146 thats what the auditors are questioning why does the register not show this sequence. When i check the entry numbers in Nav the GL postings are there. I am trying to understand why the Register is missing this information is this a known bug or Db issues etc..

I hope this is a bit clearer

It seems like around 200 entries are removed either through DB or by code.

    Hi Bilal

Is there any Audit we can run on SQL Db to find out how they were removed or any report that qualifies this in Navision ?

You can try to use DB Log if it is maintained or if you can get a backup of DB in back date.
