Getting an error when attempting to remove/replace a terminated user in the hierarchy. Several days have been spent attempting to determine the cause (get a NULL message but does not say what is NULL). Is there a way on the back end to reassign the requisitions and remove the user? They are upgrading at the end of the year so they do not want to spend much more time on this.

Soma what she is saying is when she removes the user in BP she is getting the error. Mahmoud is correct this needs to be done on the backend but you really need to be careful because removing one wrong record could cause some serious issues.
I have several posts regarding businesses portal, requisition management. Check my blog to help you understand the links and relations of the requisition management tables.
You may consider a back end update, but you should absolutely be careful as the requisition tables relations are complicated.
Please have a look on the Chapter 4 from the below link of BP Requisition Management admin guide.

Hope this helps!!!
