Hi all,

I have setup GP2015 web on a test server and users in the same domain are able to connect to the URL through their IE. But I also have users externally. By external, I mean they are not on the domain. What are the steps required to enable these users to connect to GP web on their IE?

I am a newbie to network setup etc. Hope you can help me with a detailed setup description.

Thanks.

Regards,

Saras

    Hi,

In order to access the web server externally you need to do the following:-

1- Create a sub-domain of your domain thru your domain partner.

2- Get a static IP from your ISP

3- Assign this IP to your sub-domain/domain

4- Create an IP forwarder within your network device

    Good luck.

GP Web Client requires users to authenticate via AD - you need the users to have and AD account and connect via a VPN to then connect to your GP via the GP web client.
