Increase GL account number size

Microsoft Dynamics SL : We wish to increase the number of digits in the GL account numbers.

We have been unable to determine where to indicate the size of the field.

Please help.

Roger, I don't know that there's anywhere like the Flexible Definitions screen to define the GL Account length. I believe it is solely determined by what's entered in the Chart of Accounts. I have Clients who use this to define a breakdown of the account before the subaccount (these are inherited clients.) For instance, 1010 would be the major cash account, while 1010.1, 1010.2 and so on would define the cash accounts for branches. Note that the branch accounts do not add to the "value" of the major account (which is pretty much just a definition account.
